Bayer dates back to 1863 when Friedrich Bayer founded the company as a manufacturer and seller of synthetic dyestuff. In 1897, Bayer went global with the “drug of the century”—aspirin, and our future course was set.

Bayer established a foothold in the Philippines in 1962 and has since established and expanded its Crop Science division. Through its innovative crop protection products and seeds, Bayer CropScience Philippines Inc. has become a major agricultural player providing seeds and crop protection products to farmers across the country.
