We also aim to address the existing challenges of the smallholder farmers and help them have better farm yield who account for the 70% of the food production in the region. We want to empower them to reach their farming potential and foster reliable growth for their businesses, communities and livelihoods.

In the Philippines, Bayer CropScience is a major agricultural player, with businesses ranging from seeds to crop protection. We have a diverse portfolio in rice, corn, horticulture & plantation crops. Our Crop Protection offers an extensive range of insecticides, fungicides, molluscicides, herbicides, seed treatments and biological solutions.

On the other hand, our seeds business is primarily focused on hybrid rice (Arize®), corn (DEKALB®)  and vegetable seeds (Seminis). We focus on providing high quality seeds that provide superior yields to farmers. By applying cutting edge technology, we ensure not only additional profits to farmers but also safeguard farmers harvest with resistance and tolerances against pests and diseases.   

The combination of our local research and development and our globally acquired insights allows us to develop and deliver high-performance products and solutions for the Filipino farmers.
